hey!! sorry it's been so long since the last post--i wish i could say i had an excuse like "i've been really busy".......but the truth is since my exams in late may / early june i really haven't been doing much apart from my part-time job >_<
i think i've mentioned before that when i'm not at uni i live in the (uk) countryside. there's really not that much to do unless you want to spend all your money on petrol, tickets and/or (limited) public transport so when the weather's decent i end up going on long walks (7-10 miles?) in and around my area. once you get off the main road it's usually very pretty!--so i like to just put my headphones in and enjoy the scenery / wildlife.
one of the things i really like about living in the uk is that you can go pretty much anywhere. especially in rural areas there are a LOT of public footpaths that go through fields, farms, woodland, etc (sometimes, rarely, a path will actually go through someone's garden?! and i'm just walking past all their stuff feeling like i'm trespassing but no, they've put a second gate next to their main one with a little sign so walkers can get through). of course there are some places which are 100% private land but compared to what i've heard about where you can walk in america, for example, there's a lot more freedom to just explore
basically i'm doing what geowizard does but without setting myself insane challenges LOL
shoutout to this friendly cat i saw one time!! ^_^ cute!!!
