18/08/25 -- have NOT worked on this site in a hot minute--my apolocheese >_< finally added the growing backlog of songs of the month
06/02/25 -- edited blog page behind the scenes so that each entry has its own HTML file rather than being embedded within the main page itself. which i realised. is probably not a good idea LOL. alsoooo i'm planning on removing/changing the countdown section on this homepage to something else... haven't quite decided what yet...
17/01/25 -- blog page complete! finally! i can add new entries as i feel like. also gallery page created but not designed yet

supergrass are an OK band for me overall personally but they have a few really really good songs--this being one of them!! ^_^ this was actually the first song from them i had ever heard (they were playing it in forbidden planet (uk animanga store)) and it encouraged me to check out some of their other stuff......i would recommend if you like red hot chili peppers !

the sugarcubes are one of my recent favourites!! they're a indie/alt rock / post-punk band from iceland and was actually the (last) band björk was in before she went solo ^_^ if you're into this sort of music you may have heard "birthday" which is by far their biggest hit
their songs are very fun--they typically tend to be cheeky and childish but sensual at the same time? like exploring sexuality in a whimsical way. the song i put here "walkabout" is very much like this and is one of my favourites from the band !!

my jaw fell to the floor when this came on while i was driving i could not BELIEVE how good this song was. i also chose this song for this month because i've been going through a bit of a serial experiments lain phase recently since i watched it for the first time...!! i know it's not the same song they used in the intro but. it's the same album. AND i saw a really cool lain edit with this song so i think it counts.
